Where to farm

An accessible Site of Grace near enemies you can reliably defeat; Palace Approach Ledge-Road is a late-game option in Mohgwyn Palace.

Once a Miner’s Bell Bearing makes a stone tier purchasable, the bottleneck shifts from finding that tier to earning enough runes for materials and reinforcement. Use a repeatable enemy loop that matches current progression: Gatefront or another nearby group early, Mohgwyn Palace when unlocked. This method supports standard and Somber stone purchases, but it does not unlock their tiers; the corresponding bearings still need to be found and delivered.

How to farm

Before you go

Have a repeatable enemy group available near a grace.
Know which Bell Bearing tier you have unlocked and what the planned upgrade costs.
Use a weapon or spell that clears the chosen route safely.

Choose the weapon and next reinforcement you want to fund.
Check which stone tier it requires and whether its bearing has been offered to the Twin Maiden Husks.
Select a safe local enemy route; use the Palace bird or Albinaurics only if Mohgwyn access is open.
Clear the route and collect the runes before resting.
Return to the grace to respawn enemies, or travel to Roundtable Hold once the target balance is reached.
Buy only the required stone stock from the Husks.
Visit a smith and apply the upgrade, then reassess the next tier’s cost.

Farming tips

Include the smithing fee in your target balance; the stone price is not the entire upgrade cost.
Spend or bank progress toward the planned purchase before entering a dangerous area with a large rune balance.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat the selected enemy clear and grace reset until materials and reinforcement costs are covered. The enemy route is repeatable; bearing unlocks are one-time progression.

Common mistakes

Farming before checking the bearing: earn runes only after confirming the needed tier is available or the route to it is clear.
Using a late-game Palace route before access: farm the strongest safe local group instead.
Buying excess stones: calculate the next upgrade’s requirement and keep a reserve for its service cost.

When to stop or switch

Stop once the stone purchase and reinforcement are funded; switch back to exploration or bearing progression if the next tier is still locked.
