Collect Caps from rotating Activities

PC / Global, current live game through The Backwoods and Infestations updates
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Map → Featured Activity list → any available Activity.

Activities provide a map-based combat and objective loop with a listed Caps reward. In the current Backwoods-era system, select an available Activity from Featured Activity, complete its on-screen tasks, and claim the reward bundle. The rotation changes over time and individual Activities may have special start rules, so choose only those shown as joinable. This target is distinct from vendor sales and from Public Events, which have their own map icon and reward pool.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • A live session with an Activity shown in Featured Activity.
  • Combat supplies appropriate to the listed objective.
  • Carry space for the reward and any salvage you collect.
  1. Open the map and scan the Featured Activity list.
  2. Choose an available Activity whose objective and location fit your build and session.
  3. Join through the map listing and follow the current objective markers.
  4. Complete the required combat or interaction tasks until the game registers success.
  5. Claim the Activity bundle and check the reward screen for Caps and other items.
  6. Sort useful gear from vendor or scrap candidates after the run.
  7. If no suitable Activity is listed, continue with another task and check the map again later.

Farming tips

  • Activities and Public Events use separate map entries; confirm which reward loop you are joining.
  • The current reward bundle can include more than Caps, so collect and sort before leaving the site.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat as the rotation provides available Activities; individual entries return variably and are not all manually startable.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting the old event name or manual location trigger; use the Featured Activity list.
  • Treating every Activity as a Public Event; select the correct map entry for its reward set.
  • Assuming a fixed run schedule; check current availability.

When to stop or switch

Stop once the Caps target is reached or switch to a Public Event or vendor sale if the rotation has no suitable Activity.
