It is not always available on demand: starting it requires an Assaultron Recall Keycard, and the event has a server cooldown. The Ash Heap site and event mechanics are specific, so plan the key and group before activating it. Confirm the actual reward after completion instead of assuming a fixed yield or hourly rate.
Before you go Complete the Van Lowe questline to access Recall Keycard purchasing. Have an Assaultron Recall Keycard ready; keycards require crafting with listed materials. Bring a group able to handle the Imposter Sheepsquatch and activate pylons. Check that the event can start on the current server before using the key. Travel to the Pylon Ambush Site and check the event state before spending the keycard. Use the Assaultron Recall Keycard at the site to start Encryptid when available. Follow event prompts to activate the pylons; players who take pylon duty should be ready for incoming damage. Coordinate attacks on the Imposter Sheepsquatch while maintaining the required pylon activation. Defeat the boss and wait for the completion screen. Inspect the reward list and collect any Legendary Modules granted. Store modules safely and plan the next attempt only when another start is available. Farming tips Do not use a keycard until the site indicates the event can launch; server cooldowns can block another run. Split pylon and damage roles with teammates so the event objective continues while the boss is vulnerable. Repeat, collect and use Repeat with another keycard only when Encryptid is available again; cooldown makes this a limited-start event, not an immediate loop.
Common mistakes Expecting the keycard to override cooldown; check availability first. Ignoring pylon duties and focusing only on boss damage; assign players to the event mechanics. Counting on an exact module total; inspect the displayed reward for each completed run. When to stop or switch Stop when your module goal is met, your keycards are spent, or the server will not start another event.
