WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Farmhand stall and the farmhand configuration interface on your farm.

A farmhand is useful when you configure a defined area and enable only the work you want performed. The stall is the deployment point; the farmhand’s work area and activity settings determine what it handles. Set it up around a real maintenance task, then inspect the farm to make sure its scope matches your plan.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock and place farmhand infrastructure through the available progression.
  • Have the farmhand available to deploy from its stall.
  • Identify a crop, animal, or fish area suitable for supported farmhand work.
  1. Place or access the farmhand stall once its unlock and resource requirements are met.
  2. Open the farmhand controls and select the work area you want covered.
  3. Set the area around the intended crop, animal, or fish tiles.
  4. Enable only the activities you want the farmhand to perform, such as harvesting crops or tending animals.
  5. Deploy the farmhand through the stall interface.
  6. Inspect the assigned plots and verify that work is occurring only in the intended area.
  7. Adjust the area or activity toggles if the farmhand’s scope does not match your plan.

Farming tips

  • Keep the work area focused so the farmhand does not act on plots you are managing for another goal.
  • Recheck activity settings after changing the farm layout.

Repeat, collect and use

Farmhand deployment can be reused while the infrastructure and settings remain available; the assigned work continues only within the configured scope.

Common mistakes

  • Deploying without setting an area; define its work zone first.
  • Enabling every activity without checking nearby plots; limit settings to the needed work.
  • Assuming a farmhand covers the whole farm; inspect and adjust its assigned area.

When to stop or switch

Pause or reconfigure the farmhand when its work area is no longer useful, or when you need to manage those plots manually for a quest or production plan.
