Greenhouse beds remove the outdoor seasonal limit for continued crop production after a major Carpenter and town-rank milestone.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Greenhouse on the farm after completing the Upgrade Carpenter progression and construction requirements.
The greenhouse is a substantial progression project, not an early farm building. Once the Upgrade Carpenter quest, Town Rank 70, and listed materials are in place, greenhouse beds can support crops through the outdoor off-season. Plan the material collection first, then use the indoor space for a crop line that fits your goals, such as repeat harvests or a needed seasonal item.
100 refined stone, 100 glass, 30 crystal, and 30 obsidian for construction.
Seeds, watering capacity or unlocked sprinklers, and space for harvested output.
Confirm the Carpenter upgrade quest is active and Town Rank has reached the required level.
Track the four listed construction materials separately so they are not spent elsewhere.
Mine and refine materials through the available routes and services, reserving the greenhouse amounts.
Complete the Carpenter’s construction step once all requirements are available.
Plant crops in greenhouse beds, matching the selection to their growth and regrow behavior.
Water the beds, check for ready harvests, and leave living regrow crops in place.
Keep first copies for Museum or requests and ship only the surplus.
Farming tips
Work toward the material list while Summer crops fund other needs; the unlock is a longer-term objective.
Use indoor beds to cover crops outside their normal outdoor season, but still check each crop’s behavior.
Repeat, collect and use
After the one-time construction milestone, greenhouse planting and harvesting can repeat year-round. Individual crop growth and regrow behavior still govern output.
Common mistakes
Assuming the greenhouse is available at the start leads to a blocked plan; meet the town-rank and quest gates first.
Spending construction materials before reserving the full list delays the build; track each category separately.
Treating every crop as repeatedly harvestable risks removing a useful plant or expecting extra yield; check its behavior.
When to stop or switch
Stop gathering greenhouse materials when the complete construction list is secured; after building, switch to regular bed care and harvest planning.
