WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Outdoor farm plots during Summer; seasonal seeds are available from the General Store and sometimes Balor’s rotating wagon.
Plan Summer around the days remaining and the work each crop requires. Blueberries and cranberries are identified as multi-harvest crops, making them useful when planted with enough season remaining to harvest and regrow. Reserve collection and request items before turning extra produce into Tesserae.
Hoe, watering can, and stamina for the number of plots you plant.
A calendar check and inventory room for repeated harvests.
Review the calendar and crop list to see which Summer seeds can mature before the season changes.
Buy a manageable batch; favor blueberries or cranberries when you want harvests to return from living plants.
Till plots, plant seeds, and water them each morning.
Inspect the crop list or Almanac for maturity and regrow behavior rather than guessing when a plant will produce.
Harvest ready berries and leave the plants in place for another cycle while they remain seasonally viable.
Set aside first copies needed by the Museum, a board request, or a recipe.
Ship spare produce after reservations, then use the Tesserae for the next season’s seed and tool needs.
Farming tips
Plant multi-harvest crops early enough to make use of their repeated production window.
Buy dependable seeds from the General Store when the wagon’s rotating stock does not include your target.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat watering, checking for ripe berries, harvesting, and reserving items through Summer. Outdoor production is seasonal and must be replanted in a later Summer.
Common mistakes
Starting a slow crop near season’s end may leave it unharvested; compare growth time with remaining days first.
Removing a producing blueberry or cranberry plant after harvest ends its repeat yield; leave it until the season ends.
Selling a needed first copy can stall a set or request; reserve it before shipping.
When to stop or switch
Stop purchasing seeds when there is insufficient time for their listed growth period; spend remaining days on active regrow crops, collection, or mine errands.
