WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Outdoor farm plots in Spring; buy seeds at the General Store or check Balor’s Wagon when it visits.
Use Spring’s crop window to balance quick harvests with plants that keep producing. Strawberries are a multi-harvest option: a mature plant can provide repeat harvests, so leave it planted and collect the fruit when ready. Set aside first copies for collection goals before shipping the rest.
Hoe and watering can, with enough stamina for daily watering.
Spring seeds bought before planting; check the remaining season on the calendar.
A few empty inventory slots for harvests and any forage collected on the way.
Check the calendar for the season’s remaining days and choose seeds whose listed growth period fits.
Buy seeds from the General Store; treat rotating wagon stock as an extra option, not the only source.
Till only as many tiles as you can water consistently, then plant the seeds.
Water planted crops each morning and check mature plants before spending stamina elsewhere.
Harvest ripe crops; leave strawberry plants in place if they are still producing and the season permits another harvest.
Keep one copy of any crop needed for an unfinished Museum set, request, or recipe.
Ship the remaining surplus and use the proceeds to fund seeds or needed tool supplies.
Farming tips
Strawberries suit repeated harvesting when planted early enough to benefit from their regrow behavior.
Keep field size within your watering stamina; a smaller watered plot is more useful than a larger neglected one.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the morning water, harvest, reserve, and ship loop through Spring. Outdoor seasonal production ends at the season transition, so this is a yearly opportunity.
Common mistakes
Planting a seed from another season wastes the purchase; check the season list before buying.
Clearing a living strawberry plant after one harvest sacrifices later fruit; harvest it without removing the plant.
Shipping a first copy can delay a collection or request; check those goals and store one before shipping.
When to stop or switch
Stop planting Spring crops when there is not enough season left for their listed growth period; switch to forage, fishing, or mine preparation until the next planting window.
