Where to farm
Mazaan’s portal in the Conclave of the Three, Korvan Plateau, within the Forgotten Gods campaign.
The Shattered Realm is a Forgotten Gods endgame activity accessed through Mazaan. Shards place you in a timed sequence of combat chunks; defeating guardians lets you claim rewards or push deeper. Exclusive Rune Augments and an item set are among the rewards. The timer affects the run’s stability, but it does not prevent these exclusive rewards from being awarded, so a careful build can still collect them without chasing a deep record.
Forgotten Gods ownership and access to the Conclave of the Three.
A build prepared for repeated combat, randomized mutators, and increasingly difficult shards.
A Waystone if you want to begin at a deeper shard after unlocking the relevant range.
Speak with Mazaan in the Conclave and enter the Shattered Realm.
Clear enemies in each chunk to fill the progress bar and reach the shard guardian.
Collect Shattered Souls when they drop; they grant extra progress and a temporary combat buff.
Defeat the guardian before the realm destabilizes, keeping an eye on the timer and mutators.
Choose to claim the reward or continue to another shard for greater risk and potential reward.
Open the reward chest and inspect gear, set pieces, and Rune Augments.
Use a Waystone crafted at a Blacksmith to start within its unlocked shard range on a later run.
Farming tips
Rapid kills add time, while deaths cost time; prioritize safe clears over unnecessary detours.
The exclusive rewards are not blocked by the timer, so claim a completed shard if survival is becoming doubtful.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat indefinitely through Mazaan. Waystones are consumed when used and only access the shard range they unlock; reward contents vary.
Common mistakes
Assuming the timer bars exclusive drops: finish the shard and claim its reward even if time is low.
Pushing deeper automatically: claim rewards when the current run is safer than the next challenge.
Ignoring mutators: read their effects at each shard and adapt your pace or defensive play.
When to stop or switch
Stop at a reward tier you can clear consistently, or when you obtain the set piece or Rune Augment your build needs; switch to a lower shard range if deaths erase progress.
