Crop growing gives you produce to sell or turn into soup orders, and the Hydro Cropper can harvest and replant as part of a recurring farm cycle.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A crop plot in your farm area; seedbags are available from the grocer, with additional seeds potentially coming through tasks.
Start with a small plot, purchased seedbags, light, and a watering method you can verify. Harvest the mature produce and decide which portion to sell, cook, or retain for the next farm cycle. The Hydro Cropper provides a vehicle-based harvest and replant option; hand-growing remains useful when you want a small, controlled crop supply.
Buy seedbags from the grocer and plant a modest plot in a lit area.
Water the planted crops and check that your chosen watering arrangement reaches them.
Allow the plants to mature; do not harvest crops before they are ready.
Harvest by hand with a cutting tool or use the Hydro Cropper over the crop area.
Collect the produce and separate what you need for current orders from what you plan to sell.
Replant the area to continue production, using the Hydro Cropper’s harvest/replant function where appropriate.
Farming tips
Check current orders before selling a whole harvest so you can reserve requested produce.
Test sprinkler reach at the edge of the plot and inspect its farthest water connection.
Repeat, collect and use
Plant, water, grow, harvest, sort, and replant for an ongoing crop loop. Seed supply and task rewards can vary, so replenish from the grocer or available tasks as needed.
Common mistakes
Planting outside the lit or watered area: adjust the plot or confirm coverage before waiting for growth.
Selling everything before checking orders: retain the requested vegetables first.
Assuming a sprinkler is working because it is connected: verify water reaches the crop area.
When to stop or switch
Stop expanding the beds when your harvest meets current sale and order needs; add more plot only if you can supply its light, water, and seed requirements.
