Where to farm
The Farm Center animal pens, with eggs found in their associated regions: Mox in Frostpeak Ridge and Swiftplume in Outset Grasslands.
Farm animal products come from cared-for livestock, not simply from feeding wild fauna. The route begins with an Abandoned Egg, continues through incubation and pen care, and ends with collecting the appropriate animal resource. Mox and Swiftplume have different products, so decide which one you need first.
Animal-husbandry progression with access to an Egg Incubator and animal pen.
An Abandoned Egg for the species you want to raise.
Feed and water for the animal after it is placed in a pen.
Choose the needed product: Mox provide Fur; Swiftplume provide Feathers.
Search the associated region for an Abandoned Egg, taking the access upgrades needed for Frostpeak Ridge if pursuing Mox.
Bring the egg to the Egg Incubator and hatch it.
Move the hatched animal into an available pen at the Farm Center.
Provide the animal’s feed and water, and check that it remains cared for.
Collect Fur from Mox or Feathers from Swiftplume when the animal produces its resource.
Store the product for Diane’s requests or crafting, and keep the animal supplied if you need more.
Farming tips
Collect the correct species’ egg for the material you need; the two products are not interchangeable.
Plan pen space and feed before bringing an egg home so the hatched animal can be cared for.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable product farm while the animal is housed and cared for. Finding and hatching an egg is a limited setup step; product collection continues from the raised animal.
Common mistakes
Expecting a wild animal to provide farm products: hatch and house livestock for Fur or Feathers.
Collecting the wrong species’ egg: match Mox to Fur and Swiftplume to Feathers.
Leaving a farm animal without feed or water: maintain care to keep the pen productive.
When to stop or switch
Stop collecting once you have the requested product stock; switch species or pause animal care if your next goal needs the other resource or you lack feed.
