Where to farm
Search for Abandoned Eggs in their associated regions: Frostpeak Ridge for Mox and Outset Grasslands for Swiftplume. Hatch an egg at the Egg Incubator at your farm.
Abandoned Eggs are the starting point for raising farm animals. Find an egg in a region associated with the animal you want, then use the Egg Incubator to hatch it. A Mox produces Fur, while a Swiftplume produces Feathers. Hatching is a one-time step for each egg; the resulting animal belongs in the farm-animal care loop, where feed and water support ongoing product collection.

Feed and water for the animal after it is placed in a pen.
Choose the animal you want to raise: Mox for Fur or Swiftplume for Feathers.
Travel to its associated region and search for an Abandoned Egg.
Collect the egg and bring it back to your farm.
Place the egg in the Egg Incubator and complete the in-game hatching interaction.
Once hatched, move the animal into an animal pen.
Provide the animal with feed and water so it can be cared for on the farm.
Collect its produced Fur or Feathers and store the material for crafting or requests.
Farming tips
Decide which product you need before searching, since Mox and Swiftplume are associated with different regions.
Keep the egg’s resulting animal in a cared-for pen; finding and hatching the egg alone does not complete the product-collection loop.
Repeat, collect and use
Finding and hatching each Abandoned Egg is a limited step: each egg yields one animal. Repeat the search and incubation process when you want to raise another animal; product collection continues through animal care afterward.
Common mistakes
Searching Frostpeak Ridge for Swiftplume eggs or Outset Grasslands for Mox eggs: match the search region to the animal you chose.
Stopping after incubation: move the animal into a pen and provide feed and water to support farm production.
Mixing up the outputs: collect Fur from Mox and Feathers from Swiftplume.
When to stop or switch
Stop searching once you have hatched the animal you need. Continue caring for it while you need its product, and search for another egg only when you want an additional animal.
