Build a practical reserve of crop seeds from regions you have restored, so new fields and future deliveries do not depend on a single harvest.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Restored native crop patches: Outset Grasslands, Frostpeak Ridge, or Hexagon Valley, depending on the seed you need.
Native crop patches become useful seed sources after their region’s Noxious Slime is cleared. Harvest mature crops in the region where they grow, then keep each seed family organized. The listed crops differ by region, so plan around your current access rather than expecting every seed near the homestead.
A mech tool suitable for clearing slime and harvesting crops.
Storage space to separate seed stock from crop goods.
Pick a target seed family before setting out: Wheat, Polyberry, or Caroot in Outset Grasslands; Rabbage, Honeybottle, or Zappertwig in Frostpeak Ridge; Chromaize or Lumbloom in Hexagon Valley.
Confirm that you have unlocked the target region. Frostpeak and Hexagon Valley require later progression and appropriate mech upgrades.
Clear Noxious Slime from the relevant resource patch so native crops and resources can be available there.
Locate a mature crop of the target family and harvest it with your mech’s farming tool.
Collect the seeds and crop output, then repeat at other accessible patches if you need a larger reserve.
At home, store each seed family separately and reserve some before loading any crop goods into deliveries.
Farming tips
Use the region’s crop list to plan a targeted trip; different regional routes do not substitute for one another.
Keep seed stock apart from food or delivery stock so you do not spend the next planting cycle by mistake.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable collection route wherever mature native crops are available after restoration. It is limited by crop availability in the regions you have unlocked and cleared.
Common mistakes
Searching a slime-covered patch for native crops: clear the slime first.
Traveling to a late region before unlocking it: collect starter-region seeds until progression grants access.
Using all collected seeds for a delivery: save a planting reserve for that crop family.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough seeds to establish the field you want and a reserve for replanting; switch regions if the missing seed belongs to a different native crop set.
