Lock valuable Anomaly Investigations

Lock a useful Anomaly Investigation to protect a quest you want to keep available for a target, level, or set of conditions. This helps preserve a repeatable option as your list changes.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Anomaly Investigation list at the Quest Counter.

At the Quest Counter, inspect your Anomaly Investigation list for a quest that supports a real goal, such as a material tier or Research Point progression. Review its monster, Investigation level, and conditions before locking it. The lock protects the selected Investigation from automatic removal as the list changes. Keep your choices selective so the quests you value remain easy to find, and use the locked quest through the usual posting and completion process when it fits your plans.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Anomaly Investigations unlocked.
  • At least one Investigation whose target, level, or conditions support a current goal.
  • A reason to retain that quest for future use.
  1. Open the Anomaly Investigation list at the Quest Counter.
  2. Compare available targets, Investigation levels, and quest conditions.
  3. Identify the quests that match a material, progression, or preferred matchup goal.
  4. Use the game’s lock control on each Investigation you want to preserve.
  5. Verify the lock indicator appears for the selected quest.
  6. Post and complete the Investigation when it fits your hunting plan.
  7. Review the list as new Investigations become available and lock valuable additions.

Farming tips

  • Prioritize quests for a concrete need rather than locking every entry.
  • Check both the target and the Investigation’s own level; Research Level is a separate progression value.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat whenever you find an Investigation worth keeping. Locking is a list-management action, not a one-time reward or a farm with a fixed run count.

Common mistakes

  • Locking only because a quest is high level: check its target and conditions against your goal.
  • Forgetting to use the lock control: verify the indicator before leaving the list.
  • Assuming a lock completes the quest or grants rewards: you must still post and finish the Investigation.

When to stop or switch

Stop once the Investigations you intend to reuse are locked; review again when you discover a better match for your current goal.
