Melding Pot after the Amatsu urgent quest; speak with Elgado’s merchant and inspect Qurious Melding options.
This is a specific post-story talisman-system unlock, not a loop for raising Anomaly Research Level. Qurious Melding—Vigor uses afflicted-monster materials to create talismans; Cyclus can then recycle eligible Vigor-made talismans while specifying a skill. The route is tied to late Sunbreak progression: unlock and defeat Amatsu, then speak with the Elgado merchant/visit the Melding Pot and check the new options. Earlier endgame content may still gate the feature if you have not advanced the required urgent quest chain, so verify the Melding Pot menu after the Amatsu clear. Once unlocked, Vigor is fueled by afflicted materials and Cyclus uses talismans produced through Qurious Melding, so stockpile the appropriate inputs before expecting the second option to be usable. This target is useful when moving from ordinary talisman melding into the postgame system. It does not instruct you to repeat Investigations for a research-level threshold; the goal is the one-time feature unlock and correct first access.
Reach MR10 and unlock the Amatsu urgent quest The Sun Will Rise Again.
Complete earlier Sunbreak progression gates required for the endgame melding options.
At the Quest Counter, check that The Sun Will Rise Again is available and select the Amatsu hunt.
Prepare a late-story Master Rank loadout and complete the urgent quest.
After the clear, return to Elgado and speak with the relevant merchant/NPC if the melding option has not appeared.
Open the Melding Pot and verify Qurious Melding—Vigor is listed.
Check for Qurious Melding—Cyclus and read its talisman-input requirement.
Use afflicted materials in Vigor only when ready to create talismans; Cyclus requires eligible talismans from the system.
If the options remain unavailable, clear outstanding progression prerequisites and recheck the Melding Pot rather than grinding research levels blindly.
Farming tips
Capcom describes Vigor as using afflicted materials and Cyclus as specifying a skill from talismans created through Qurious Melding.
Amatsu is a progression gate, but the menu may also depend on earlier urgent quest/story progression.
Do not expect Cyclus to accept ordinary talismans if its display requires Vigor-created ones.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a one-time unlock route; after the options appear, use the corresponding guides for ongoing talisman farming.
Common mistakes
Do not confuse the unlock with the separate Anomaly Research Level weapon-augment gates.
Do not assume beating Amatsu alone bypasses earlier endgame prerequisites.
Do not spend materials until you have checked the Melding Pot option and inputs.
When to stop or switch
Stop once Vigor and Cyclus are visible and their input requirements are understood.
