Special Investigations are a one-off high-end Anomaly quest unlock tied to the level-300 cap, giving this guide a concrete endpoint rather than another routine for combining Bahari requests with research points. Capcom’s Title Update 5 announcement says that completing an Anomaly Investigation at level 300 grants a one-off Special Investigation. Raise Anomaly Research and the selected Investigation until a level-300 entry is available, then complete that exact quest. The Special Investigation is then provided as a unique follow-up challenge; it is not a repeatable reward from every level-300 clear. Before the hunt, inspect its target and restrictions, and use the Research menu to ensure you are launching the level-300 Investigation rather than a lower-level quest for the same monster. This is useful for players who want the Special Investigation challenge and its separate completion record. If the target quest is too difficult, improve the build or join an eligible group, but do not substitute a lower level and expect the unlock.
