Bring a rod and bait, keep catches needed for current collection or town tasks, and sell only the surplus after checking the current market.
Fishing can be repeated after access is unlocked, but individual species are not guaranteed and there is no fixed farm yield.
Stop when the fish needed for the current goal are obtained or the remaining catches are no longer worth the travel, then switch to another fishing spot.
