WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Usable fishing trap points at the Oasis and other marked Sandrock fishing waters.
A Sandfish Trap is a placed fishing activity: choose a suitable water point, supply bait, then return to collect the catch and reload. Use this for fish needs that match what appears at the chosen location rather than treating it as a universal fish source.
A Sandfish Trap and access to a usable fishing water point.
Bait, such as Sandworms, obtained through an available in-game source.
Inventory space for fish and replacement bait.
A cooking, commission, or other planned use for the catch.
Check the map and travel to a marked fishing-water location where traps can be placed.
Inspect the available trap point and place the Sandfish Trap there.
Open the trap interface and load bait accepted by the trap.
Leave the trap in place for its in-game production cycle rather than expecting an immediate catch.
Return and collect the fish the trap has produced.
Reload bait if you want to continue the same fishing setup.
Carry the catch home and reserve fish needed for a recipe or commission before using extras.
Farming tips
Match trap placement to the target fish available at that water location; a trap is not rod fishing.
Include bait gathering in your regular collection plan so the trap does not sit idle.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the bait, wait, collect, and reload cycle while bait is available. Catch type depends on the location and trap; this is a renewable activity with consumed bait.
Common mistakes
Placing a trap away from a usable fishing point prevents the intended loop; use marked water locations and valid points.
Leaving the trap without bait means there is no baited cycle to collect; verify its interface before departing.
Selling every fish can leave an accepted order or cooking plan incomplete; reserve the required amount.
When to stop or switch
Stop reloading when the current fish stock meets your recipe or commission needs, or when bait is better spent on a different target.
