Where to farm
Abeyance Forest Realm for crude Wood Bundles; Forest Antiquarian realms for tiered Forest wood.
Use a Wood Axe to gather the wood tier your current recipes require. A simple Abeyance trip supplies crude bundles; a Forest Antiquarian realm is an option when you need tiered Forest wood and can handle a procedural route.
A Wood Axe; meet the target tree’s gear-score requirement.
Access to Abeyance or the desired Forest realm card combination.
Inventory space for raw bundles and any other planned materials.
Check the recipe you are gathering for and identify whether it calls for crude wood or a particular Forest tier.
Open Abeyance for crude wood, or prepare a Forest Antiquarian realm if you need tiered Forest wood.
On arrival, find trees, stumps, or fallen trunks that are accessible and suitable for your Axe.
Equip the Wood Axe and chop the target until Wood Bundles appear.
Gather nearby targets of the same tier while keeping an eye on inventory space.
Return to your estate when you have enough raw material for the intended job.
Use bundles directly where a recipe accepts them, or process them into Lumber at a Saw Table when required.
Farming tips
Crude Wood is available across realms, so there is no need to spend a realm card when that is all you need.
Higher-tier targets can require a suitable Axe; check its gear score before making a dedicated trip.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the route for more material, but do not assume harvested trees or deposits refill automatically. Choose another realm or reset the relevant realm if you need a fresh supply.
Common mistakes
Gathering the wrong wood tier: read the recipe first and choose the matching realm target.
Assuming Lumber and Wood Bundles are interchangeable: refine only when a recipe asks for Lumber.
Ignoring tool requirements: carry a Pick or other tools only if planned, but ensure the Wood Axe itself is adequate.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting enough bundles or Lumber for the buildings and recipes queued; switch realm tier if the next recipe calls for a different wood.
