Where to farm
The Twilight Mission listings on the world map, after they become available through campaign progress.
Twilight Missions can award Umbracite on an eligible first clear. Because the selection and rewards rotate, check the current listing before committing to a run. The material is useful at the Blacksmith, where tempering lets you change an equipment effect. Treat this as a limited reward claim: once you have collected the first-clear payout for that offering, replaying it is not a dependable way to earn the same bonus again.
Unlock Twilight Missions through campaign progress.
Choose a currently listed Twilight Mission whose reward preview includes Umbracite.
Have gear suitable for the mission’s displayed difficulty.
Unlock Blacksmith tempering if you plan to spend the material.
Open the world map and view the available Twilight Missions.
Inspect each relevant reward preview and find an offering that lists Umbracite.
Choose the Umbracite mission whose difficulty and objectives fit your current gear.
Enter and complete its objectives, defeating required enemies and bosses.
Finish the mission and review the results for the reward.
Check your inventory to confirm the Umbracite was added.
At the Blacksmith, use the material to temper an equipment effect on a piece you intend to keep.
Farming tips
Check the reward preview each time the Twilight selection changes; available missions and payouts vary.
Save the material for a piece of gear you expect to use, since tempering a temporary item can waste the opportunity.
Repeat, collect and use
The first-clear payout is limited for that eligible Twilight offering. Look for another currently available Twilight Mission whose preview lists Umbracite; do not count on receiving the same first-clear reward again by replaying a cleared offering.
Common mistakes
Assuming ordinary missions award this first-clear Umbracite; restrict this route to Twilight listings that show the material in their reward preview.
Entering a Twilight Mission without checking its payout; verify Umbracite is listed before starting.
Expecting an already-claimed first-clear reward on replay; check another eligible listing or wait for a later rotation.
When to stop or switch
