An Electrolyzer is a gas production system, not a complete oxygen solution by itself. It consumes Water and produces hot Oxygen and Hydrogen. A pump and Gas Filter can separate a mixed gas stream; filtered Hydrogen can feed a Hydrogen Generator, while clean Oxygen can go to base vents or Atmo Suit Docks. Keep the dock line free of other gases because contamination damages docks.

Before you go
Electrolyzer, Water supply, and power.
Gas Pump and Gas Filter set to separate Hydrogen from mixed output.
Hydrogen route and Hydrogen Generator if recovering power.
Gas pipe carrying clean Oxygen to vents or dock inputs.
Connect a Water pipe and power supply to the Electrolyzer, then plan for its hot mixed gas output.
Use a Gas Pump to move the mixed gases into a Gas Filter configured for Hydrogen.
Send filtered Hydrogen to a Hydrogen Generator or another suitable destination; keep other gases out of the generator line.
Route the remaining Oxygen stream to base distribution, adding a second filter if other unwanted gases could remain in it.
For Atmo Suit Docks, connect a clean Oxygen gas pipe directly to each dock’s Oxygen input and supply dock power.
Keep the dock row attached to an Atmo Suit Checkpoint and verify that no non-Oxygen gas enters the dock line.
Monitor Water availability, power, temperature, and pipe flow while the system operates.
Farming tips
The Electrolyzer output is hot; place or manage it so heat does not damage nearby crops or living areas.
A room full of Oxygen does not supply a dock’s pipe input. Connect the clean gas line to the dock port.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a continuous production loop while Water, power, pumping, filtering, and downstream storage or distribution remain available. Collect no solid output; route Oxygen where needed and use the Hydrogen stream without allowing contaminated gas into equipment.
Common mistakes
Sending mixed gas directly to a Hydrogen Generator; filter the Hydrogen stream because other gases damage the generator.
Feeding Atmo Suit Docks from room atmosphere or an Oxygen vent; connect a clean Oxygen pipe to each dock input.
Ignoring hot output or Water depletion; monitor both before relying on the system for breathing or suit supply.
When to stop or switch
Scale back or disable the system if the Water source cannot sustain it or heat becomes difficult to manage. Switch to another oxygen source or add capacity only when the resource balance supports it.
