Cake is consumed by the Breeding Farm, so a prepared supply lets you begin a breeding cycle without pausing to gather ingredients. A practical production loop collects the ingredients, processes Wheat into Flour, cooks Cake, and places it at the farm.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Your Ranches and crop facilities, a Mill, a cooking station offering Cake, and the Breeding Farm chest.
Use the Cake recipe shown at your cooking station to set a target batch. Flour comes from Wheat processed at a Mill; Ranches can supply some other ingredients. Store finished Cake at the Breeding Farm when you are ready to use it.
A cooking station that offers Cake and its current ingredient list.
Wheat and a Mill operated by a Watering Pal for Flour production.
Sources for the other recipe ingredients, such as Ranch-produced Milk and Honey where available.
A Breeding Farm with room in its chest for the Cake you plan to use.
Open the Cake recipe at your cooking station and note its displayed ingredients and quantities.
Check storage for Flour and the other listed ingredients; identify the item with the smallest reserve.
If Flour is short, harvest Wheat and put it through a Mill with a Watering Pal assigned.
Collect Ranch products from compatible assigned Pals, and check your available sources for remaining ingredients.
Move one batch of ingredients near the cooking station and reserve them from general use.
Cook the planned Cake batch and collect it when ready.
Carry the Cake to the Breeding Farm and place it in the farm chest for use.
Before another breeding cycle, check the chest and ingredient buffers and replenish whichever item ran short.
Farming tips
Reserve Cake ingredients in a dedicated chest so routine cooking does not consume the batch you planned.
Use the recipe shown in your game for quantities, since workstation recipes may differ by version.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable, but each Cake batch consumes ingredients and the Breeding Farm consumes Cake. Refill the farm chest as needed; crop and Ranch sources can continue between batches.
Common mistakes
Starting to cook before confirming every ingredient: check the live recipe and assemble a complete batch.
Treating Flour as automatic: harvest Wheat and run the Mill with a Watering Pal.
Leaving finished Cake in general storage: transfer it to the Breeding Farm chest when you intend to use it.
When to stop or switch
Stop cooking when the farm chest holds enough Cake for the breeding cycle you plan; resume when Cake or ingredient reserves run low.
