Honey is a cooking ingredient and one of the inputs used for Cake, which the Breeding Farm consumes. Ranch production can refill your Honey stock while you gather other ingredients.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A Ranch at your base with Beegarde assigned; cook Cake at a station offering the recipe.
Assign Beegarde to a Ranch, collect its Honey, and reserve enough for the Cake batch you intend to cook. Check the recipe at your cooking station before assembling ingredients, then transfer finished Cake to the Breeding Farm when you are ready to use it.
Reachable storage with room for Honey and other ingredients.
A cooking station offering Cake; a Breeding Farm if you plan to use the result.
Build a Ranch at your base and leave its working area unobstructed.
Capture Beegarde and assign it to the base workforce.
Set Beegarde to the Ranch and verify it remains on the Farming task.
Place reachable storage and ensure a Transporting Pal can collect output.
Collect Honey from the Ranch or chest and reserve it with the ingredients for Cake.
Open the Cake recipe at your cooking station and check its current ingredient list.
Gather the remaining displayed ingredients, cook the batch, and collect the Cake.
Move Cake to the Breeding Farm when you are ready to use it, then keep Beegarde assigned for future Honey.
Farming tips
Store Honey separately if Cake production is your priority, so general cooking does not spend the reserve.
Cake is consumed in breeding use; plan to replenish the farm’s supply after each use.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable: Beegarde periodically produces Honey while assigned to a functioning Ranch. Each Cake batch consumes ingredients, and breeding consumes Cake.
Common mistakes
Expecting Ranch output without an active Beegarde assignment: check its job and path.
Cooking before checking the full Cake recipe: gather every displayed ingredient first.
Treating Cake as permanent stock: replenish it after breeding use.
When to stop or switch
Pause Honey collection once the reserved stock covers the Cake batch you plan to make; resume when preparing another batch.
