WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A Ranch inside your base with a Caprity assigned.
Build a Ranch, assign a Caprity with Farming suitability, and keep storage accessible. Check the Ranch and nearby chest for output, then move berries to cooking or feed storage before capacity problems interrupt collection.
A Ranch built inside your base with clear work space.
A captured Caprity with Farming work suitability.
A reachable chest with free space and a Transporting Pal.
A cooking or feed destination for the collected berries.
Build a Ranch in an open part of the base where a Pal can enter and work.
Capture Caprity and add it to your base workforce.
Assign Caprity to the Ranch if it does not take that job automatically.
Place a chest nearby and check that a Transporting Pal can reach the Ranch and storage.
Allow Caprity to work, then check the Ranch area and chest for Red Berries.
Move collected berries to cooking or feed storage and use them in recipes shown in-game.
Keep Caprity assigned while you want the supply to continue.
Move surplus berries out of the output chest so it remains available for new production.
Farming tips
Keep the Ranch approach clear so the Pal can reach its work area.
If output appears to stop, check assignment, worker access, and storage capacity first.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable: Caprity produces Ranch items while assigned to a functioning Ranch with room for output. Collect as needed; this is not a one-time harvest.
Common mistakes
Expecting Ranch production without Farming suitability: verify Caprity’s work capability and assignment.
Leaving output uncollected: provide reachable storage and transport access.
Allowing the chest to fill: move surplus to cooking or feed storage to reopen capacity.
When to stop or switch
Pause moving berries when cooking and feed stores cover current needs; leave Caprity assigned if you want the stock to replenish.
