WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Burial-site Expedition encounters inside Atlas maps; trade artifacts with the relevant Kalguuran NPCs.
Expedition explosives reveal buried monsters, chests, and remnants; artifacts collected from the site can be exchanged with Kalguuran vendors. Read remnants before placing charges because their effects can make monsters more dangerous or invalidate your build. Plan a route through worthwhile markers, fight what you uncover, then take artifacts to the vendor who accepts them. Shop stock and encounter rewards vary, so spend against a specific need when possible. Artifacts are the output of this loop; inspect vendor offers to turn them into useful equipment or items.
Reach Atlas mapping and enter a map with Expedition.
Be able to handle excavated monsters after accounting for remnant modifiers.
Leave inventory space for artifacts and other rewards.
Know which gear or item type you hope to buy.
Survey the burial site and locate reward markers, remnants, and monster markers.
Read each remnant before placing explosives; note effects your build cannot handle.
Plan a charge route through useful rewards while avoiding incompatible or overly dangerous remnants.
Detonate the chain to uncover selected sites and enemies.
Defeat excavated monsters and collect artifacts and other drops.
Visit the Kalguuran vendor who accepts the artifact type you found.
Compare offered items with your build needs and spend on a useful upgrade.
Farming tips
Remnant effects can alter the fight; avoid modifiers that block your main damage or undermine defenses.
Route charges deliberately through worthwhile markers rather than detonating without checking them.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Expedition maps to collect more artifacts and revisit vendor offers. Specific items and quantities vary by encounter and shop.
Common mistakes
Detonating a remnant that blocks your main damage type; read effects and route around it.
Ignoring reward markers while placing charges; connect useful sites when the route is safe.
Accumulating artifacts without checking vendors; review offers periodically and spend on items you can use.
When to stop or switch
End an encounter if remaining remnants are too dangerous or their rewards are not worth the risk. Switch to safer maps if you need to rebuild defenses.
