WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Cleansed Maps created in nearby Atlas areas after defeating a Corrupted Nexus.
Defeating a Corrupted Nexus changes nearby Atlas areas into Cleansed Maps. Those maps have different monsters and an exclusive reward pool that includes the rare Fracturing Orb. Run available Cleansed Maps you can safely complete and inspect their rewards; an Orb is a possible drop, not a guaranteed result of a particular map. The Orb’s use is specific: it locks a modifier on rare gear. Keep one until you have a rare item with a modifier worth preserving and a crafting plan that justifies spending it. The practical loop is to complete a Nexus, run the nearby Cleansed Maps it creates, and repeat where more Nexus areas are available. This is a long-term currency target rather than a predictable per-map payout, so choose map difficulty based on your build and use the reward only when the item merits it.

Complete the map and inspect its rewards for exclusive drops, including a possible Fracturing Orb.
Keep an Orb until you have a rare item with a modifier worth preserving; then use it as part of your crafting plan.
Farming tips
The Orb is rare, so do not budget around finding one in a particular map.
Check each map’s difficulty before opening it; altered monsters and map modifiers still need to suit your build.
Repeat, collect and use
Run available Cleansed Maps for chances at their exclusive rewards. Cleansing requires another eligible Nexus; an Orb is not guaranteed per map.
Common mistakes
Expecting a Fracturing Orb from every clear; treat it as a rare possible reward.
Spending an Orb on an item with no valuable modifier to preserve; wait for a worthwhile rare item.
Opening a map without checking its difficulty; select one you can finish reliably.
When to stop or switch
Stop when available Cleansed Maps are complete or their danger outweighs the reward. Use an Orb only when a specific rare item and crafting plan justify consuming it.
