Make a Crop Calendar from In-Game Seed Information
A crop-by-crop calendar helps coordinate seed storage, sowing windows, and harvest processing across the year.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Your safehouse seed store and adjacent farm plot, with the schedule kept in a notebook or map notes.
Use this record-keeping system for an established plot, rather than as a second guide to starting a crop bed. Build 42 uses crop-specific seasonal sowing windows, so a calendar made from information in your current save can help you reserve seeds and spread work across the year. Its outputs are labeled seed storage and a schedule for planting, harvest, and food processing; it cannot create seed or extend a crop’s window.
Seed packets or saved seeds with crop names visible.
In-game seed or Agriculture information for the current build.
A notebook or map notes for recording windows and bed assignments.
A working plot and enough water and storage for planned crops.
Sort packets and saved seeds by crop name; keep each type in its own labeled container.
Read the seed or Agriculture information available in your save and record the suitable sowing months shown for each crop.
Compare those windows with the current in-game month; mark crops as plantable now, upcoming, or out of season.
For each open window, choose only crops for which you have seed and capacity to tend, harvest, and process.
Assign each planned crop a marked row or plot section, and record the sowing date when you plant it.
Inspect growing plants and note significant care needs or problems alongside the crop’s calendar entry.
At harvest, record the crop state and usable output; reserve returned seed before cooking or preserving the remainder.
Before the next planting period, update the schedule from current in-game information and your harvest records.
Farming tips
Use current-save crop information after updates; Build 41 planting habits may not match Build 42 windows.
Stagger planned crops only as far as your water, tending time, and storage can support.
Repeat, collect and use
Review the calendar as months change, seeds arrive, and crops are harvested. Each crop remains limited by its sowing window and the seed available.
Common mistakes
Using an old calendar without checking the current save; read seed or Agriculture information again.
Mixing seed types in unmarked storage; label containers so a planned row gets the intended crop.
Scheduling more beds than you can maintain or process; reduce the plan to available care and storage.
When to stop or switch
Stop adding planned beds when current plots use the care and storage capacity you can sustain; carry remaining seeds forward to their next suitable window.
