Where to farm
Cave chambers beyond the valley entrance, with deeper deposits reached through cave progression.
Treat a cave trip as a chamber-by-chamber collection run. Check each newly accessible room for exposed deposits, bring the tool and light needed for the route, and remember where the material appeared so later trips can target the right depth.

Before entering, identify the mineral you need and check which cave progression and tool it requires.
Bring light and the tool suited to visible deposits.
Enter the cave and inspect the current chamber before moving toward its exit.
Gather accessible mineral nodes with the appropriate tool and collect the drops.
When a path is blocked by darkness or a tool gate, note the requirement and return after meeting it.
Continue through opened rooms and inspect each chamber for newly accessible deposits.
Return to the village and store the material for the recipe, idea, or request that needs it.

Cave chambers progress through darkness and tool requirements, so deeper materials are not a surface substitute.
Keep a note of the chamber where you found the target; this makes a later collection run more focused.
Repeat, collect and use
Collecting mineral nodes is repeatable as the route permits, though access to new chambers and materials depends on progression and tools.
Common mistakes
Entering a dark route without light: prepare before trying to push deeper.
Using an unsuitable tool on a node: check the visible material and bring the required tool.
Expecting deep materials in early rooms: open the relevant cave route first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the material quantity required for your current craft or request, or when the next chamber requires progression you have not unlocked; return after preparing for that gate.
