WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
River and lake fishing spots in the Forest and other valley waters, according to the target fish’s habitat entry.
Fish availability depends on several conditions at once. Choose a species first, then match its listed habitat, location, season, weather, time, and tool. The Handaxe makes fishing available from the beginning, but it does not make every fish available in every water spot.
Handaxe, which can be used for fishing from the first day.
A target species with its conditions checked in the fish list.
Inventory space for catches and any contribution or request item.
Select the fish you want and note every condition listed for it: habitat, exact location, season, weather, time, and tool.
Travel to the named river or lake spot rather than choosing water at random.
Check that current conditions match the species before spending time fishing.
Use the Handaxe fishing action at the spot.
Collect the catch and check whether it is the requested species before using it.
Keep the first catch if it advances a collection or contribution goal.
Use or store additional catches according to your current village request or other planned need.
Farming tips
A river and a lake are not interchangeable; match the fish’s named water habitat.
If conditions do not match, switch to a fish available now instead of repeating an unproductive attempt.
Repeat, collect and use
Fishing is repeatable, but catching a particular fish is conditional on its listed requirements. A first collection or donation target is limited to the first needed specimen; additional catches can support requests or supplies.
Common mistakes
Fishing in the wrong water type: follow the species’ location entry.
Checking season but overlooking weather or time: verify all listed conditions before a trip.
Using a catch before a contribution: set aside the first one when it meets a current goal.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the required fish and any sample you intend to keep; switch to a species whose conditions match the current time and place.
