Where to farm
A planted Garden Plot inside your flag area, with the target crop reachable for treatment.
Treat fertilizer as an optional crop input, not a guarantee of a specific harvest. Growth and yield are affected by more than fertilizer, including crop care and Farming skill. Use the in-game plot interaction available in your version, and avoid assuming a fixed amount, timing, or result.
Access to inspect and interact with the target crop.
Basic water and condition-care supplies for the crop's other needs.
Choose a crop whose output is useful enough to justify spending fertilizer.
Inspect the plot for sunlight, water, and plant condition before applying any input.
Correct indicated water, weeds, pests, or fungus needs so fertilizer is not treated as a substitute for routine care.
Select the target crop and use the fertilizer interaction available in the current game interface.
Confirm the application on the intended plant before leaving the plot.
Return to inspect the crop and continue ordinary care as its condition requires.
Harvest when ready and use the produce; compare the result with your needs before fertilizing the next planting.
Farming tips
Reserve fertilizer for crops you value rather than applying it indiscriminately to every tile.
Keep care and harvest expectations flexible; skill, crop, server, and version affect results.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat on later plantings while fertilizer is available. Fertilizer is consumed as an input; this route does not establish a guaranteed return or fixed improvement amount.
Common mistakes
Expecting fertilizer to fix poor sunlight or neglected care confuses its role; address the displayed condition too.
Applying it to every crop can exhaust supplies; prioritize valuable plants.
Assuming a precise growth-time or yield bonus is reliable across servers is unsupported; judge results in your current game.
When to stop or switch
Stop fertilizing when supplies are low, the crop has little value to you, or ordinary care already meets your food needs.
