Rebreather Cave is accessible without keycards, making this an important early cave objective. The device lies deep inside near a flooded chamber, where a shark makes the pickup area dangerous. Collect the Rebreather and Air Tanks, then equip it for underwater passages on later expeditions.
Before you go Light source for cave navigation. Weapon and healing supplies for cave threats. Inventory space for the Rebreather and Air Tanks. Find the marked Rebreather Cave entrance and break through its boards. Enter with your light ready and follow the descending cave route toward the flooded chamber. Move carefully as you approach the water; the shark can threaten you near the item. Pick up the Rebreather and nearby Air Tanks when you reach the chamber. Equip the Rebreather and use the underwater passage to continue toward the cave exit. Return to camp and keep spare Air Tanks with the device for future submerged routes. Bring both the Rebreather and an Air Tank supply when preparing for Shovel Cave. Farming tips No keycard is needed to enter this cave, so it can be pursued before bunker progression. The Shark is a local hazard near the pickup; avoid lingering at the water's edge. Repeat, collect and use One-time equipment pickup; the Rebreather is retained for future use, while Air Tanks are consumable supplies to manage across dives.
