WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A base Granary placed close enough to the Farmland plots you want its worker to tend.
Build the farm around the Granary’s work area and inventory. Each Farmland plot must be assigned a crop, and the Granary needs the corresponding seeds, water, and crop-specific fertilizer. A tribesman assigned to the Granary tends nearby plots and harvested crops go into storage when supplies and capacity allow. Automation therefore depends on a clear work assignment and a maintained supply loop; it is not a set-and-forget field if inputs run out or storage fills.

Crop seeds, water, and fertilizer matching each plot’s requirements.
Free Granary inventory space for inputs and harvested produce.
Unlock Crop Planting through Mask progression and build a Granary and Farmland.
Place plots within the Granary’s working area, then interact with each plot to choose its crop.
Stock the Granary with seeds and the water and fertilizer required by the selected crops.
Assign a tribesman to the Granary work task and check that the assignment is active.
Allow the worker to tend plots, then inspect Granary storage for harvested crops.
Collect output and refill inputs before the Granary runs short; keep seed reserves separate from consumable crops.
Add plots only when worker capacity, supplies, and storage can support them.
Farming tips
Check each crop’s requirements individually; one fertilizer assumption can stall only part of a mixed field.
Leave enough inventory room for both supplies and harvests.
Repeat, collect and use
Maintain the loop by replenishing seed, water, and fertilizer, assigning a worker, and collecting output. Production continues only while the inputs and storage capacity support it.
Common mistakes
Placing plots outside the work area can leave them untended; keep them close and verify the worker’s reach.
Stocking the wrong fertilizer does not meet crop requirements; inspect each plot’s display.
A full Granary can block harvest storage; collect output before adding more fields.
When to stop or switch
Stop expanding when the worker, supplies, or storage cannot keep up, or when your target crop reserve is full.
