A Monkey Storage Nest supports a nearby foraging loop: pet monkeys gather wild fruit and nuts, and the nest stores gathered items for collection. Place it in a tree area where those resources are available, then keep the monkey fed and watered so it can remain productive. This is a gathering setup, not a planted crop with a guaranteed harvest. Check the nest and any storage used by a tribesman collector, then move the food to the supply that needs it.

Storage space or a way to collect gathered items. Choose a tree area with nearby wild fruit or nuts before placing the nest. Place the Monkey Storage Nest where the monkey can forage in that area. Set up the pet monkey with the nest according to the available in-game interaction. Keep food and water available to the monkey. Allow time for gathering, then check the nest for stored fruit and nuts. If a tribesman is assigned to collect, check the collector’s storage as well as the nest. Carry gathered food to base storage or use it for the food needs it suits, then clear space for further collection. Farming tips Sparse nearby forage is a reason to reconsider placement; the monkey’s local tree access matters. Check both the nest and collector storage before concluding that gathering has stopped. Repeat, collect and use Repeat collection while the monkey remains fed and watered, nearby forage is available, and storage has room. Gathered amounts are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes Placing the nest in a bare area gives the monkey little nearby forage; use a suitable tree area. Neglecting food or water can undermine ongoing work; restock as part of collection. Checking only the nest can miss items moved by a collector; inspect the relevant storage too. When to stop or switch Move or pause the setup when nearby forage is scarce, storage is full, or gathered food no longer justifies the upkeep.
