WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Void Fields, The Scorching Valley map; mine exposed mineral deposits as you travel through the stage.
In Void Fields, Scorching Valley has a fixed material set, so it is a practical choice when its deposits match the Copper or Iron shown in your current Blacksmith recipe. You collect these materials by breaking visible mineral deposits during the run, then spend them on persistent weapon crafting or upgrades after returning to the fortress. The route is repeatable, but the number and placement of deposits can vary; plan around what you find rather than expecting a specific yield.
Check the Blacksmith recipe to confirm Copper or Iron is still needed.
Bring a build that can clear the selected difficulty safely.
At the Blacksmith, note the exact Copper and Iron requirements for the weapon goal.
Open Void Fields and select Scorching Valley.
Check the available map material information to confirm the map suits your need.
Start the run and prioritize nearby deposits while clearing enemies.
Collect each deposit’s materials before moving on.
Continue toward the run objective; skip a deposit if reaching it would put the run at risk.
Finish the run and return to the fortress.
Spend the collected Copper or Iron at the Blacksmith and update your remaining target.
Farming tips
Void Fields maps have fixed material sets, so confirm the Scorching Valley pool before committing to a run.
Increase difficulty or Curses only when your build can still complete the run reliably; higher difficulty can improve mineral rarity.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat runs while the Blacksmith recipe still needs the minerals available on this map. Deposits are gathered within each run; return to the fortress to process them through crafting or upgrades.
Common mistakes
Entering without checking the recipe: write down the missing material first so the run has a clear target.
Assuming every node yields both Copper and Iron: inspect collected materials and base your next run on the actual shortage.
Escalating Curses too quickly: reduce the setting if survival or completion becomes inconsistent.
When to stop or switch
Stop mining this map once you have enough Copper and Iron for the next planned Blacksmith craft or upgrade; switch maps if the remaining shortage is outside its fixed pool.
