WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Void Fields, Caves of Dhal Zhog; mine exposed deposits while progressing through the map.
Caves of Dhal Zhog is one of the Void Fields maps, and each Void Fields map has a fixed material set. That makes it a distinct choice from Scorching Valley or Dungeon of Despair when its pool better matches the Blacksmith recipe you are funding. The exact resource names should be confirmed on the current map information and in your inventory; this guide does not assume a specific node count or guaranteed rarity. Mine deposits you encounter on the way through the run, then bring the gathered minerals back to the Blacksmith for a weapon craft or upgrade.
Check the map’s listed material pool against your recipe.
Bring a build appropriate to the selected difficulty.
At the Blacksmith, identify the material shortage for your next weapon goal.
Review the available map material information and confirm Caves of Dhal Zhog suits that shortage.
Select the map from the Void Fields menu.
Choose a difficulty and Curse level that you can finish consistently.
Advance through the encounter while clearing threats near your route.
Break accessible mineral deposits and collect their materials.
Finish the run without taking dangerous detours solely for distant nodes.
Return to the fortress and spend suitable materials at the Blacksmith.
Farming tips
Void Fields pools are fixed by map; verify the Caves pool before entering and change maps if it does not match.
Higher difficulty or Curses may improve rarity, so raise them only when your build can still complete runs.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while the Caves’ fixed pool supplies a material your planned recipe still needs. Deposit resources persist after the run and are consumed by Blacksmith crafting.
Common mistakes
Assuming the Caves share Scorching Valley’s pool: inspect its own map materials before committing.
Chasing rarity before meeting the base material need: first ensure the map and recipe align.
Taking unsafe detours for deposits: keep mining integrated with the route and preserve completion.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have enough of the Caves pool materials for the next craft, or switch to a map that includes the remaining shortage.
