Where to farm
Void Fields deposits on a map whose fixed mineral set contains the needed material; enable Curses from the mode setup.
Higher map difficulty and Curses can improve mineral rarity, making a Curse-enabled Void Fields run useful when ordinary deposits are not producing the tier your Blacksmith goal needs. This is a risk-managed farm: identify the mineral and rarity requirement first, select a map whose fixed material set includes the mineral, then raise the Curse level only as far as your build can handle. The reward is material for persistent crafting and upgrades, not a guaranteed rare drop on each run.
Unlock the target Void Fields map and Curse modifiers.
Identify the mineral and rarity required by the Blacksmith recipe.
Use a character and build that can survive the intended Curse level.
Review the Blacksmith recipe and record the exact mineral tier you lack.
Choose a Void Fields map known to contain the base mineral you need.
Check the current in-game material and Curse information for tier requirements.
Begin at a Curse level you have already cleared consistently.
Mine accessible deposits while advancing through the run.
If the run remains controlled, raise the Curse tier in a later attempt rather than changing multiple settings mid-plan.
Complete the run and inspect the collected mineral tiers in your inventory.
Spend suitable materials at the Blacksmith and recalculate the remaining deficit.
Farming tips
The map determines the fixed mineral pool; Curses affect rarity rather than turning one map into another map’s resource source.
Treat higher tiers as a tradeoff: a completed lower-tier run may serve a recipe better than a failed high-tier attempt.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Curse-enabled runs until the required rarity is available in sufficient quantity for the next craft. Materials persist after the run and are consumed when used at the Blacksmith.
Common mistakes
Choosing a map for difficulty alone: confirm its fixed material set includes the target mineral first.
Jumping straight to an untested Curse level: step up gradually and lower it if you stop completing runs.
Expecting a guaranteed high-rarity result: rarity improves with difficulty but an individual run’s result is not assured.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your inventory covers the recipe’s required mineral tier, or switch to a lower Curse level if high-tier attempts prevent you from collecting useful materials.
