WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Void Fields, Dungeon of Despair; collect its exposed mineral deposits during the run.
Dungeon of Despair is one of the Void Fields maps, and Void Fields maps have fixed material sets. That makes it a focused mineral farm when the map’s listed pool matches the materials required by a Blacksmith recipe. The practical loop is to check the recipe and the map pool before entering, gather exposed deposits during a manageable run, then return to the fortress and process the materials through crafting or upgrades. The farm is repeatable, but do not assume a particular node count or guaranteed rarity.
Read the Blacksmith recipe and identify the missing mineral.
Have a build suited to the map’s danger level.
Check the weapon recipe or upgrade you intend to fund.
Confirm that Dungeon of Despair’s fixed mineral pool includes your target material.
Select Dungeon of Despair from the Void Fields map list.
Choose a difficulty and Curse level you can reliably finish.
Travel through the map toward the objective, clearing nearby enemies as needed.
Break deposits that are accessible along your path and collect their materials.
Avoid side trips that expose you to unnecessary danger or delay completion.
Return to the fortress, review your inventory, and use eligible minerals at the Blacksmith.
Farming tips
Void Fields pools are map-specific; the Cathedral and Titan Hunt do not follow the same fixed-pool rule.
If you need higher rarity, adjust difficulty or Curses only after you can complete the current setup consistently.
Repeat, collect and use
Run Dungeon of Despair again while its pool supplies a material still needed for your next craft. Each run replenishes your collected stock; Blacksmith crafting consumes it outside the run.
Common mistakes
Assuming the map is useful without checking its pool: verify the target mineral before starting.
Treating Cathedral or Titan Hunt as equivalent to Void Fields: their mineral types are randomized rather than fixed by map.
Taking risky detours for every deposit: collect along a safe route and preserve the run objective.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have enough of the map’s materials for the selected recipe; if the remaining requirement is absent from this pool, move to a map that lists it.
