Solarium is a late progression target associated with Tier 6, where a Cooling EPP is needed for the extreme heat. Search suitable worlds for Solarium Ore, then smelt it into Solarium Stars for crafting. The Refinery does not accept Solarium Stars, so keep the output for recipes rather than treating it as ore-based Pixel income.
Before you go Access to Tier 6 planets and a Cooling EPP to withstand their heat. Armor, healing items, and a mining tool appropriate for the planet. An Atomic Furnace or other suitable furnace for smelting the ore. Check the recipe or upgrade that calls for Solarium Stars so you know how much ore to seek. Equip the Cooling EPP and verify the chosen planet is within your available progression before beaming down. Locate a cave or create a safe descent, keeping an exit route and enough blocks to cross hazards. Search underground for Solarium Ore veins and mine them with your tool. Return to the ship when inventory fills or combat and environmental damage make the trip unsafe. Smelt the ore at a suitable furnace to produce Solarium Stars. Use the Stars in the required late-game recipe and store any excess in a labeled container. Farming tips A Tier 6 threat rating signals stronger enemies as well as access to the final crafting ore; bring suitable combat gear. Do not put Solarium Stars into the Refinery: they cannot be converted there. Repeat, collect and use Mining is repeatable across planets with finite deposits on each world. Visit another suitable Tier 6 planet when you need more ore.
Common mistakes Landing without a Cooling EPP; heat protection is required for the planet hazard. Expecting the Refinery to accept Solarium Stars; reserve them for crafting. Mining without a planned use and filling storage with late-tier material; let the recipe determine your target. When to stop or switch Stop when the Stars cover the current recipe or upgrade. Return to this farm only when another specific crafting requirement calls for Solarium.
