Where to farm
The backyard/Clocktower pond in Eidos 7.
For a targeted large-fish collection run, use Eidos 7’s Clocktower Pond after buying the relevant Large Fish Data from Clyde. Bring Fish Slice, fish the pond, and use the Data Bank to distinguish missing species from catches that add no collection progress. The purpose is to finish the location’s large-fish pool or a specific quest target; this is not a repeatable reward farm. If the location or fishing access is not yet available, return after progressing the region and activity unlocks.
Unlock fishing by speaking with Clyde at the Great Desert Oasis.
Purchase the relevant Large Fish Data from Clyde.
Reach Eidos 7 Clocktower Pond and bring Fish Slice bait.
Confirm in Clyde’s inventory that the Large Fish Data for your target is unlocked.
Travel to Eidos 7 and locate the Clocktower backyard pond.
Select Fish Slice for the large-fish objective.
Cast into the pond and complete each fishing interaction when a fish bites.
Check the Data Bank after every catch to see whether a new large-fish entry registered.
Continue the pond loop only while a required species or quest entry remains unrecorded.
Once the target is complete, leave the pond and use any earned Fishing Points at Clyde for the next useful Data unlock.

Keep the target specific: Clocktower is suited to its listed pool, while the Oasis has a broader range of fish sizes.
Repeat, collect and use
You may cast again while seeking missing entries, but the species collection is finite and catch results are not guaranteed. There is no unlimited guaranteed large-fish payout.
Common mistakes
Arriving before buying Large Fish Data: unlock the class through Clyde first.
Using Small Shrimp for the large-fish target: bring the specified Fish Slice bait.
Assuming every catch advances the goal: check the Data Bank and stop when the target entry is complete.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the Clocktower large-fish entries relevant to your goal are registered; move to the Oasis or another size-class target for remaining fish.
