WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Repair Consoles at Supply Camps or Lily’s station at the Tetrapod hideout in Xion.
Drone Upgrade Modules have no effect until invested through a Repair Console. Consoles appear at Supply Camps, and Lily’s station at the Tetrapod hideout provides another upgrade point. The three branches support different goals: environment scanning, hacking, and ammunition or combat. Purchases are permanent, so use the interface to compare available nodes and select a useful order. Additional modules come from regional pickups, scavenger robots, crates, and the Wasteland merchant.
Reach a Supply Camp or the Tetrapod hideout with Lily’s station.
Decide which drone function would help your current exploration or combat needs.
Interact with a Repair Console at a Supply Camp, or use Lily’s station at the Tetrapod hideout.
Open the drone upgrade interface and inspect the three available branches.
Review environment nodes for scanner improvements and Can Detector access.
Review hacking nodes if you want to open high-security chests and their rewards.
Review ammo and combat nodes if you want more ranged options for encounters.
Select a node whose function you expect to use; confirm the module cost before committing.
Return to the interface after collecting more modules and continue down the branches you value.
Farming tips
The Hacking Tool can make otherwise inaccessible high-security chests available, so consider it when chest access is your immediate goal.
Because upgrades cannot be reset or refunded, compare the branch benefits before spending a limited early supply.
Repeat, collect and use
The console interaction can be repeated whenever you have modules and eligible nodes remain. Individual upgrades are permanent purchases, not a repeatable reward.
Common mistakes
Expecting to upgrade from the inventory screen: modules must be spent in the Repair Console interface.
Spending without checking the node’s function: confirm whether it serves exploration, hacking, or combat.
Waiting to collect every module before making any choice: invest when a useful node is affordable, while understanding the purchase is permanent.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the currently useful node is purchased or your modules are depleted; resume after finding or buying more modules.
