Where to farm
Clyde’s pond at the Great Desert Oasis.
The Great Desert Oasis is the broadest named fishing pool and supports jumbo fish when Fantastic Bait and the necessary Jumbo Data are available from Clyde. Target Whale Shark and Dunkleosteus if those entries are missing, and check the Data Bank after catches. Catch-earned Fishing Points can fund remaining Data purchases. Fishing is a collection loop with variable outcomes, not an infinite guaranteed drop farm. The complete fish collection unlocks the Ocean Maid suit; this route concerns base-game fish and excludes NIKKE DLC additions.
Unlock fishing by speaking with Clyde at the Oasis.
Buy Fantastic Bait and the required Jumbo Data from Clyde before targeting jumbo species.
Use the Data Bank to identify whether Whale Shark, Dunkleosteus, or other collection entries remain.
Visit Clyde at the Oasis and check that Fantastic Bait and the required Jumbo Data are unlocked.
Select Fantastic Bait and fish at the Oasis pond, which supports jumbo fish.
Complete the fishing interaction for each bite and inspect the Data Bank after the catch.
If Whale Shark or Dunkleosteus is still missing, continue fishing at the Oasis and verify each new registration.
Spend catch-earned Fishing Points at Clyde if another Fishing Data unlock is needed.
Recheck the Data Bank against your collection goal, including any remaining non-jumbo entries.
Stop once the desired jumbo entries or full fish collection reward condition is complete.
Farming tips
The Oasis is a practical single stop for mixed-size collection, but use bait and Data that match the target class.
Track Ocean Maid as a full-collection goal; catching the two named jumbo species alone does not complete every fish entry.
Repeat, collect and use
Casting can be repeated while pursuing missing fish or earning points for remaining Data. The collection is finite, and no particular catch is guaranteed on each attempt.
Common mistakes
Fishing for jumbo species before buying Jumbo Data and Fantastic Bait: unlock the class first.
Assuming the two jumbo entries alone unlock Ocean Maid: complete the full fish collection for that reward.
Counting DLC fish in the base-game target: NIKKE DLC fish are outside this base-game route.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the target jumbo fish register, or continue checking other Data Bank entries until the full collection reward is achieved.
