Where to farm
Chaos mission selection; use Light of Possibility if it is unlocked and its level is manageable.
This is a practical starting loop for players who have entered Chaos and want crystals ready for the next unlock. Light of Possibility is a possible Chaos route when it appears on your board, but access depends on progression and may involve DLC. If it is unavailable, the same method works with another accessible mission that lists crystal rewards.
Own the relevant DLC and meet its progression gate if Light of Possibility requires it in your mission set.
Have a mission available whose listed clear rewards include Anima Crystals.
Open Chaos on the world map and look for Light of Possibility.
If it is not listed, choose an available Chaos mission with a crystal reward instead.
Compare the mission level with your current equipment and choose a tier you can complete reliably.
Equip your best usable gear for the active jobs at a cube before beginning.
Clear the mission objectives and claim the mission completion rewards.
Check your crystal balance, then spend only what is needed to unlock a useful next target.
Review that target’s reward panel and return to your dependable route if its level is too high.
Farming tips
Treat Light of Possibility as an optional route, not a requirement for base-game Chaos crystal farming.
A reliable clear at a lower tier is more useful than a higher level that repeatedly defeats you.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the accessible mission while you need crystals. Any first-clear bonus is limited to the first completion; ordinary clear rewards are the repeatable part.
Common mistakes
Expecting Light of Possibility to be available to every player; use another listed Chaos mission if it is locked.
Spending the reserve across unrelated unlocks; save enough for the mission progression you actually want.
Counting a first-clear cache as renewable; plan later runs around the repeat clear reward.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the reserve covers your next planned unlock, then test that mission. Return to crystal farming only if another level or mission is worth opening.
