WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Azure Memories: The Stymied, available as a side mission from the world map when unlocked.
Anima Shards are a separate resource from the Anima Crystals used on the Chaos board. Azure Memories: The Stymied is a base-game side mission with a shard reward on its first completion and further shard farming on repeats. Use the mission’s displayed reward information, complete the stage, and collect the shard payout; do not substitute cube visits for a mission clear.
Reach the point in story progression where Azure Memories: The Stymied is available.
Select the side mission and confirm its reward listing.
Bring a loadout that can clear its mission objectives.
Open the world map and locate Azure Memories: The Stymied in the side-mission list.
Review its level and reward panel so you know the shard objective is relevant.
Start the mission and follow its actual in-game objectives through the stage.
Use cubes as checkpoints where available, but continue until the mission is complete.
Claim the completion reward and confirm the Anima Shards were added.
If you need more shards, return to the board and replay the same mission.
Spend or retain the shards according to the in-game resource uses available to your progression.
Farming tips
Do not mistake Anima Shards for Chaos Anima Crystals; they are different resources.
If the mission is not yet on your board, continue progression and check side-mission availability again.
Repeat, collect and use
The first-clear shard reward is limited to the first completion. The mission can be repeated for shard farming, subject to the reward shown for the replay.
Common mistakes
Leaving after reaching a checkpoint and expecting the clear reward; finish the full mission.
Calling the payout Anima Crystals; verify the resource name in the reward screen.
Assuming a fixed number of shards per run; use the in-game reward display rather than an unstated rate.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the shards needed for your current use or when the mission is no longer an efficient clear. Return later if another shard need comes up.
