Where to farm
The world map’s optional side missions and the Job menu, during the story or later progression when the relevant mission is available.
This is a one-time unlock route for a job you do not yet have, rather than a method for gaining levels on jobs already in your active slots. Optional side missions can open access to advanced jobs. Check the Job menu and mission details to identify an available side mission tied to the job you want, then clear it and confirm the job is available before planning gear or progression around it.
Unlock the optional mission associated with the job you want.
Have access to the mission’s difficulty and bring equipment suitable for its listed level.
Know which advanced job you are working toward so you can verify the unlock afterward.
Open the Job menu and identify an advanced job that is still unavailable.
Review its displayed unlock conditions and note any prerequisite job or mission requirement shown there.
Open the world map and look through available optional side missions for the prerequisite or unlock objective.
Select the matching mission and check its level and objectives before entering.
Complete the mission objectives, including any required boss encounter, then finish the stage.
Return to the Job menu and check whether the advanced job is now available; if not, review its remaining conditions.
Unlock or select the job when available, then equip a suitable weapon and build before taking it into harder missions.
Farming tips
Treat the Job menu’s displayed conditions as the checklist; different advanced jobs can have different prerequisites.
Finish the unlock mission at a difficulty you can clear reliably, then raise the challenge when gearing for the newly opened job.
Repeat, collect and use
The job unlock is a one-time reward. Repeat the mission only if you still need a listed objective or want its ordinary mission rewards; clearing it again does not unlock the same job a second time.
Common mistakes
Leveling other jobs while assuming that will unlock the target: check and complete the specific mission condition shown for that job.
Leaving the mission before its objectives and clear are complete: finish the stage, then verify availability in the Job menu.
Repeating a completed unlock mission expecting the job reward again: confirm the job is unlocked and move on to another prerequisite or progression goal.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the target advanced job appears as available in the Job menu. Switch to a mission that supports gearing or leveling it, or pursue a different job’s listed unlock conditions.
