This is a targeted spending guide for the Chaos mission board. Anima Crystals come from mission clears and are spent on mission progression. Raising a level increases the challenge and can change available rewards, so select the mission that supports your current job or gear goal and make sure the resulting level is realistic before spending.

How to farm

Before you go

Complete the main story and unlock Chaos difficulty.
Earn Anima Crystals from Chaos mission clears.
Identify a mission whose higher-level rewards support your current goal.

Open a mission’s Chaos details on the world map.
Read the current level, crystal cost, and displayed reward information.
Decide whether the mission supports a concrete target, such as gear progression or a listed job reward.
Spend crystals to unlock or raise that mission level using the mission interface.
Review the new level and reward panel before launching the stage.
Clear it if the difficulty suits your current equipment; claim the mission rewards afterward.
If the raised tier proves too hard, return to a lower-level crystal route and improve your loadout.

Farming tips

Some progression lets you unlock a higher tier and then access lower tiers beneath it; check the board’s available level options.
Keep a reliable crystal mission in mind so one difficult unlock does not halt all progression.

Repeat, collect and use

Crystal spending on mission levels is a progression purchase, not a farm. You can repeat mission clears for crystals, but each level unlock or increase requires its displayed cost.

Common mistakes

Spending crystals without checking the new level; inspect the resulting challenge before committing to the run.
Raising several missions without a goal; prioritize the route with the reward you need.
Assuming a higher level guarantees a particular item; use the reward panel and avoid guarantees beyond its listing.

When to stop or switch

Stop raising the mission once the challenge becomes unreliable or the reward no longer fits your goal. Build gear or crystals at a manageable tier before continuing.
