Where to farm
Challenge reward choices during Great Forge waves.
Some Great Forge rewards can convert Slorm earned into Elder Slorm. This is an option-driven route, so it cannot be assumed on every expedition. When the relevant conversion is available, select it before continuing and build the War Chest around that choice. The chest is collected between waves, and claiming it ends the run. Check the resulting currency and spend it toward the activity or upgrade that required Elder Slorm.
Unlock the Great Forge through Cory Ironbender and travel with Palstrang.
Enter with a build able to complete waves.
Have a current Elder Slorm need and be ready to choose the conversion if offered.
Enter the Great Forge and clear the first wave.
Review the challenge choices after each wave for the Slorm to Elder Slorm conversion.
Select the conversion when it appears and suits your current goal.
Continue clearing waves while tracking the accumulated chest and your survival.
Ignore unrelated cards unless they help you stay alive or support the run.
When the conversion reward is sufficient or risk rises, claim the War Chest to end the expedition.
Check Elder Slorm in your inventory and apply it to the planned progression need.
Farming tips
The conversion is a possible reward, not a guaranteed card in every run.
Claiming the chest banks the run and ends it, so do not claim before deciding you are done.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable when the conversion appears in a future run. Availability and value vary with the offered challenges; Battlefield elites are a direct alternative source.
Common mistakes
Entering without a defined Elder Slorm goal makes it easy to claim too early or keep risking a completed target; set a target first.
Expecting the conversion every run misreads the random choices; use another source when it is absent.
Assuming chest claim lets you resume the same run is incorrect; it ends the expedition.
When to stop or switch
Claim the chest once the conversion has covered your immediate Elder Slorm requirement or the next wave threatens the run.
