Where to farm
Mapworks Portals encountered during campaign progression, or opened with a Mapworks scroll when available.
Mapworks Portals let you return to campaign dungeon and boss encounters, making them a useful repeat route when you want another chance at general loot. Portals appear during the campaign, so this is not limited to a separate postcampaign season or event. Each visit is a fresh run through the portal’s selected content. Clear the route, defeat its boss, check the reward area, and decide whether the same encounter remains worth another pass. No portal promises a particular piece of gear.
Progress far enough in the campaign for Mapworks Portals to appear.
Choose a portal linked to a dungeon you can complete reliably.
Bring enough healing and inventory space for a full clear and loot inspection.
Approach an available Mapworks Portal and inspect which dungeon or boss route it offers.
Enter the portal and follow the dungeon path through its enemy encounters.
Clear the rooms instead of leaving before reaching the boss encounter.
Defeat the boss and inspect the reward chest or drops in the reward area.
Collect useful equipment and compare it with your current loadout.
Use another available portal or scroll to start a further run if the route still suits your goal.
Farming tips
Pick a familiar route when you want to spend more time fighting and less time learning a layout.
Keep expectations to general loot: a boss replay creates another opportunity, not a guaranteed named drop.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable when another portal or Mapworks scroll is available; individual portal availability depends on campaign progression and current resources.
Common mistakes
Expecting a portal to target a specific Legendary: inspect drops each run and use other gear sources too.
Leaving before the boss: the boss encounter is central to the replay route and its loot opportunity.

When to stop or switch
Switch portals when the current route is slow or no longer useful, or leave Mapworks when you want the card-based Fazeer challenge after completing the campaign.
