Mapworks Portals appear during the campaign and let you replay campaign dungeons, including their boss encounters. This makes them useful when you want additional combat and loot between story objectives or while looking for general equipment upgrades. Portal runs do not guarantee a named item; they create another chance to receive gear from enemies and boss rewards. Choose a route you can finish, collect the useful drops, and return to the campaign or another portal when the route stops being worthwhile.

How to farm

Before you go

Progress through the campaign until Mapworks Portals appear, or claim a Mapworks scroll from Contracts if offered.
Select a dungeon route you can clear safely.
Bring enough inventory space to inspect the haul.

Find an available portal in the campaign area or use a claimed scroll to open a route.
Check which dungeon the portal connects to and enter it.
Clear the dungeon’s enemies as you follow the route to its boss.
Defeat the boss and inspect its reward area for equipment and other useful drops.
Collect items you want to compare, then equip upgrades or keep them for later use.
Use another portal or return to campaign progression when you want a different activity.
