Agony Wave is a wave-defense activity accessed from Saluto, but entry requires an Agony Key obtained in Chaos Dungeon. The practical preparation route is to run Chaos Dungeons you can finish, defeat their bosses, and check the resulting rewards for a key. Once you have one, travel to Saluto and use the Agony Wave entry. Agony Wave is a separate activity with its own risk and reward decisions, so gather the key first and confirm the current entry state before committing to a run.
Clear Act 13 and the Unidentified Phenomenon quest for Agony Wave access.
Unlock Chaos Dungeon.
Be able to defeat a Chaos Dungeon boss.
Have inventory space for an Agony Key.
Open Chaos Dungeon and choose a map tier you can complete consistently.
Clear the dungeon while progressing toward its boss.
Defeat the boss and review the reward drops and inventory for an Agony Key.
If no key appears, continue with another suitable Chaos Dungeon rather than assuming every boss guarantees one.
Once you have a key, travel to Saluto and open the Agony Wave activity.
Check the entry panel and key requirements before entering.
Begin the wave activity only when ready to manage its timed fights and paired Blessing and Curse choices.
Farming tips
Choose a reliable clear tier while collecting keys; a difficult map that stalls your boss progress slows the preparation loop.
Check the Agony Wave screen for the current entry item name and count before spending or discarding keys.
