WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Botanist Station on the train’s garden deck, connected to Garden Beds.
The Botanist Station automates garden work later in train progression. Establish a manual seed and water supply first, then unlock the station at Research Phase 15 and assign a Rofleemo. Its duties expand with perk levels, so check the station interface to see which tasks your worker can currently handle.
Research Phase 15 and the Botanist Station unlocked.
A Rofleemo assigned to the station.
Garden Beds, seeds, water, and compost if you want fertilizing handled at higher perk levels.
Maintain a working manual garden with beds, seed stock, and water before pursuing automation.
Reach Research Phase 15 and unlock Botanist Station in the Research Table.
Build the station on a train platform with room for it and access to your garden setup.
Assign an available Rofleemo to the Botanist Station.
Stock seeds and ensure the beds have the water supply the station needs.
Check station storage and the beds after the worker performs its duties.
At higher perk levels, provide compost for automated fertilizing and collect harvested crops from station storage.
Farming tips
At the base perk level the worker plants, waters, and harvests; fertilizer duties require a higher perk level.
Keep food and crew upkeep provisions stocked even after garden automation, since production still depends on inputs.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat as a continuing production loop while the Rofleemo, garden inputs, and beds remain available; bonus yields are a chance at the specified higher perk level.
Common mistakes
Building automation before having seeds and beds; establish the inputs first.
Assuming fertilizer is automated at every level; verify the worker’s current perk.
Using the same platform section for a bed and a full-section module; plan platform space.
When to stop or switch
Switch back to manual checks if station storage is full, beds lack inputs, or the worker’s current role cannot complete a needed task.
