Where to farm
Depot containers and slot machines during depot stops.
If your garden is short of seeds, depots offer a fallback alongside small fish schools. Search containers and, when tokens are available, try the slot machine for random resource rewards. This is a chance-based restock route, so keep the fish and compost loops as your dependable sources.

Stop at a depot and clear nearby threats before searching exposed outpost areas.
Search accessible containers and note any seeds among the mixed loot.
Collect tokens from sources available during the depot stop if you plan to use the machine.

Store any regular or strange seeds separately from other loot.

Repeat at later depots while tokens and stops are available; machine rolls and container contents are random, so this is a limited, chance-based fallback rather than guaranteed replenishment.

Spending every token on a seed expectation; rewards can be other resources.
Leaving seeds mixed in loose depot loot; store them safely on the train.
Planting without water or a seed-return plan; prepare the bed and compost when possible.
When to stop or switch
Stop rolling when you have enough seed stock for the beds you can maintain or when the remaining tokens are more valuable elsewhere.
